Genomic architecture of inbreeding depression

I mapped inbreeding depression loci across the genomes of four Leavenworthia alabamica families. I found widespread genetic load that would be difficult to purge and only one locus where inbreeding depression could be purged. This genomic evidence explains why inbreeding depression persists in this species.
